Kokopelli is an active youth choir with monthly tours, workshops and performance opportunities. The choir sings an eclectic range of challenging choral music and strives to present it in a unique and creative way. The organization offers excellence in music instruction and workshops with outstanding artists from around the world. 2008/2009 will mark Kokopelli's 13th season and many exciting projects are planned. Tours tentatively scheduled for next season include: Camp Nakamun Retreat (September 26-28), Ft.McMurray, Calgary, Banff, and Missoula Montana. In addition we have been asked to perform with the Edmonton Symphony in April.
The fee structure for the 2008-2009 season is still being finalized. However, the fees will likely be as follows: Choir Fees - $500 (due in Sep.), Camp Fee - $100, fundraising commitment to the organization - $100. We have many opportunities to fundraise throughout the year to offset tour costs; financial assistance is also available through the choir bursary fund.
